Movado Men's Safiro Black PVD Stainless Steel Watch #0605899
Product Description
Dark and mysterious, this Safiro stainless steel Swiss quartz watch for men is finished with a black PVD coating (Physical Vapour Deposition), which provides a fashionable exclamation point as well as improves wear and corrosion properties. The complementary deep black face features the utterly recognizable, minimalist look of the Museum Watch, made famous by American designer Nathan George Horwitt in 1947. It includes just the signature single dotted marker at 12 o'clock--evocative of a sun dial--and two silver sword-style hands. (Movado's Museum watch is often referred to as the "boss's watch" due to its vague display of time and because the boss doesn't have to be on time.)
Powered by a precise Swiss quartz movement, it also features a highly scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, hidden butterfly deployment clasp, and water resistance to 30 meters (100 feet)--enabling it to withstand splashes and accidental dunks into the water, but not suitable for swimming.
